Amy's previous project is a trilogy: “Alive and Awake” (2013), "Forever Blue" and "Namaste" ( 2014) . All three of the Trilogy albums were produced by Amy and recorded in Nashville and Toronto. Chosen to reflect Amy’s belief that ‘art and music can be tremendously healing’, “Alive and Awake” is an elegant, beautiful and cohesive collection of songs, that explores themes of faith, hope and recovery.
“Forever Blue” is an acoustic set of songs centred around the theme of loss. On “Namaste” , Amy explores East-meets-West kirtan music in Sanskrit and English, intended for meditation, reflection and relaxation. Real life experience has been at the centre of Amy Sky’s music for over a decade, with ten albums to her credit. Hit songs like, “I Will Take Care Of You,” and “Ordinary Miracles” have lit up radio station switchboards as callers respond every time the songs are played. Fans attend Sky’s live shows not only to revel in her powerful voice and ‘feel-good’ music, but to unite and be part of a community that celebrates everyday life, its challenges and victories. Due in part to Sky’s desire to be close and in touch with her fans and to help them in their efforts to find balance in life, to complement the message of the new trilogy, she launched the monthly Alive & AwakeNewsletter, providing tips and tools for greater self-care and mental well-being. Partnering with Mental Health experts from Sunnybrook Hospital, along with a team of wellness bloggers, Sky offers insight into simple things that one can do to make a big difference in their daily life in order to directly affect their well-being.
